FAQ - Log-in to "Signing Loan Agreement"

What are the requirements when uploading documents to sign a loan agreement?

Max. 5 files can be uploaded each time.
Each file size shall not exceed 5MB.
Acceptable formats: gif, jpg, jpeg, tif, pdf, bmp, png

What should I be aware of if using a camera or phone to capture the documents for uploading?

Notice for uploading:

Applicants must provide the following documents for identity verification and arrange the funds transfer. We may require applicants to submit further support documents when necessary. A more ideal loan amount or interest rate might be approved, if additional documents (e.g. proof of residential address within 3 months; proof of income within 3 months, etc.) can be provided.

Please pay attention to the following when capturing documents with a camera:

  • Please make sure all information is clearly visible; document should occupy above 80% of the area of the image; avoid using flash.
  • If the size of the original document is A4 or above (e.g. bank monthly statement), please provide
    1. An image of whole document, and
    2. A close-up image of the top 1/3 section of the document.

ATM Card

The ATM card must be an individual Hong Kong currency account issued by a local bank that contain the name of applicant to be used for transaction arrangement (name of applicant and bank account should be clearly shown). For example, ATM card, bank statement or front page of bank book.

Can I login to "Signing loan agreement" if I do not provide a mobile phone number?

You must provide a local mobile phone number for registration. The "loan application code" and "one-time password" received by the registered phone will be required for logging in to "Signing loan agreement".

Why "dual authentication" is used as the login method for "Signing loan agreement"?

Promise treats the personal information of our customers and security of transaction with the utmost care. "Dual authentication" uses the following two types of information, which strengthens the security used to authenticate the identity of our customers.

  • Client-known information (e.g. HK ID number or loan application code provided by Promise)
  • One-time password provided by Promise via registered phone number of customers.

Note: to login to "Signing loan agreement", customers must enter the correct information.

Do I have to use my "one-time password" instantly or can I wait until I am free to do so?

The "one-time password" is only applicable to an instant log-in within a time limit. The "one-time password" will expire if unused within a set period of time after being issued. Even if the "one-time password" expired, you may request for a new "one-time password" again.

How do I know if I have completed the whole loan agreement signing process?

When you completed the whole loan agreement signing process, the website will display the message "loan agreement signing process is completed". When you completed this process, we will execute the transaction order as per your instruction, and transfer the loan into your registered bank account.
